About Us

The group was created in August 2015 by Kiran Shah a regular walking enthusiast, who had previously  completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, 10 Peaks, and Mount Toubkal (Morroco).   A long time bucket list goal of his was undertaking the Everest Base Camp trek and after mentioning this to family and friends, very quickly a group of 10 formed with this single goal in mind.  Given the range of abilities and experience, Kiran felt it more practical to set up his own training group in order to cater for the differing needs and Boot Trekkers was born.

He is assisted by his wife Roshni in the organisation of local and international treks. A reluctant joiner in 2015 but who has since caught the bug, and completed Everest Base Camp, Snowden, Scafell Pike, Machu Picchu, Bhutan Druk Path Trek and most recently Kilimanjaro.
